Report Property Maintenance Issues Tenant Frequently Asked Questions Glasgow A&S Property Office Perth A&S Property Office

As we manage hundreds of rental properties available across Scotland, A&S Properties has a rich experience when it comes to looking after tenants. Our team not only want the Landlord to be happy but we also want the tenants to have the best experience of renting with us, too.

After identifying properties to suit you we will arrange a viewing before you make your decision. The time can be arranged to suit your needs, whether this be an evening or weekend. Our professionally trained staff are available at viewings to answer your questions and provide further details. Once you have decided on a property we invite you to apply for the tenancy which may require us to carry out a reference check. Furthermore, at this point the details of the rental shall be agreed, such as the duration of let, occupancy date and rent per month. Only tenants with a reliable background and a good reference from their previous landlord are considered. The utmost care is taken to ensure our properties are in safe hands. We also like to ask for a reference which can be provided by any person who is willing to testify your character, such as a previous employer or former landlord.

Rents are normally collected on a monthly basis. The tenant is also responsible for any Council tax, water rates, electricity and telephone bills during the tenancy. Before moving into the property, every tenant is required to pay a deposit upfront which is used to cover the cost of any damage or breakages to the property caused by the tenant. At the end of the tenancy, a staff member will meet the tenant to inspect the property and any claims made by the agent will be dealt with. Thereafter, our specialised team will help you contact ‘My deposit Scotland’ – an accredited tenancy deposit scheme which ensures your money is safe and protected. They will provide you with an independent assistance service to help you settle any disputes at the end of the tenancy.

Our service is available 365 days a year, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day so you know we’re a name you can trust. Having our A&S Properties your local property experts available across three different areas Perth, Glasgow and Dundee means that no matter what your question, we’ll have the answer. Dealing with over 800 properties with a combined experience of over 40 years you know we’ve got the experience needed to keep everything running comfortably and easily.
